PR Log (Press Release) – Mar 04, 2010 – Two local Mount Dora, FL businesses have teamed up; pairing their services to help their community.  PizzAmore´, a popular downtown restaurant and Yada Yada Pottery, Mount Dora’s painting and pottery studio, will be donating a “Birthday Party Package” for children to benefit the Red Carpet Fund Raiser held by the Montessori at Roseborough, located in Mount Dora.  The proceeds from this event will benefit the restoration of the school’s gym, originally built in 1941.

In these challenging times, partnering with neighboring businesses can prove not only to be a creative way to continue giving, but also help businesses find new ways to market their products and services.

PizzAmore´ co-owner, Leigh Love and Yada Yada Pottery owner, Juliette Davis both have a long history of giving to their community.   When Davis approached Love on the idea of pairing their services for this benefit, the two began expanding the concept of offering the “Mount Dora Birthday Party Package” for sale to their customers.   This package provides a birthday celebration for children of all ages, combining their artistic expression of pottery painting together with their love for pizza.

I recently delivered some pizza’s to the Mount Dora Historical Society (http://www.mountdorahistoricalsociety.com/) in the Old City Jail to find myself caught up in a room of Zombies. The pizza was for the volunteers who participate in the Mount Dora Ghost Walk ( http://www.mountdoraghostwalk.com/). They all looked so terrifying. Check it out.
